Trying to decide between a hotel for the group or Dean Lake House?   The attached spreadsheet compares our home to a local upscale hotel based on July rates for 2 couples requiring 2 sleeping rooms.    The pricing works out better 'per person' for any number of 4 or higher - assuming each adult couple wants their own room.   In fact, our 'per person' goes down with each additional person while the hotel pricing stays the same.   In addition to all of the amenities we offer - lakefront, hot tub, dock, fire pit, outdoor seating, etc. - the other delta is food cost.   With a hotel, every meal is in a restaurant.   With Dean Lake House we offer a full kitchen, grill, refrigerator, etc. so you can prepare your meals at home.    Check out this spreadsheet and you'll see that sharing our home with friends is a much better deal than each couple getting their own hotel room!
